Meeting Moly-Xers

Life has a funny way of monopolizing your time and you end up forgetting important pictures on your hard drive. What a thrill it is to meet a fellow Moly-Xer. Back in August, I met our very own Chris, the Rebelpapa, and handed him Chensio's book from Moly-X34. Chensio, your book travelled with me from Istanbul to San Francisco, to New Hampshire, where it was delivered safely to Chris. A bit longer than posting it, but much more fun.

I can't believe I neglected to post this.

I also had the good fortune to meet Anna Denise while I still lived in San Francisco, back in 2008. Here I am handing over Laura Ansa's Moly from Moly-X13, to the lovely Anna Denise.

In some way, it felt like I had known Anna and Chris for years, and yet, up until those moments, we had never seen each other in person nor heard each other's voices.

I had such fun meeting both of you!

The Mollies in My Life

I have five at my house right now, and several that I know of on their way to Istanbul, where I live. The top one is my book for Moly-X64, the Sequential Art Exchange, the middle three are all from Moly-X34 (mine is the fourth Moly down), the last one is the nearly complete Moly of Anna Denise from Moly-X13.

We at Moly-X13 are just about finished with our first books and plan on continuing our exchange with new books. I am particularly proud of 13 and 34 for not only the beautiful imaginative work that has been produced, but for our ability to keep the exchanges rolling. Of course, my having three books from 34 looks like a clog, but I'll be getting them out shortly to Chris— though one at a time for his sake!

Please click on the images to see them much larger.
